Inventing Tomorrow Today
Technology influences so much of how we live today– the way we communicate or make financial transactions, through to the impact of medical care. A degree from the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EEECS) positions graduates within an industry that will impact the way we live today and in the future.
Students of the School have access to some of the best facilities in the UK. The Ashby building, where undergraduates in EEE are based, has recently undergone a £10m refurbishment. Facilities include laboratories for Microelectronics, Electronics, Communications, Circuits, Instrumentation, Virtual Reality, Software Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power and Machines.
It can however be a difficult subject to marketing to potential students because it is often not on their radar as a study option.
ASG was commissioned to develop a marketing tool that could be used at recruitment fairs, open days and schools presentations that would communicate the breadth of opportunity available to EEE students, alongside key employability and study information.
Influenced by the style of Paul Rand and his work for IBM, ASG developed a 2 minute motion graphics video that explored the future career potential if you study EEE – whether this be wearable technology or flying cars.
